What if my country doesn't appear in the drop down list?

International money transfers can be sent to specified countries only. For ANZ Internet Banking and ANZ Internet Banking for Business, you can view the list of destination countries for international money transfers, when you set up a new payee.

For ANZ Phone Banking or if you wish to transfer funds to a country not shown in the list of destination countries in ANZ Internet Banking or ANZ Internet Banking for Business, please call the International Support Centre on 1800 681 683 or +61 03 8565 7229.

How much can I transfer overseas?

For ANZ Internet Banking, your daily payment limit will apply to all payments/transfers (excluding BPay bill payments). For ANZ Internet Banking for Business, the maximum daily amount that can be transferred overseas is $150,000 even if the daily limit amount assigned to your profile is higher than this.

For ANZ Phone Banking, there is no transaction limit on payments/transfers from your account. International money transfers cannot be made from a credit card via ANZ Phone Banking.

How do I know if my payment is successful?

For ANZ Internet Banking, whenever you confirm a payment/transfer you'll receive a lodgement number and a receipt number. The receipt number confirms that the payment/transfer has been submitted.

For scheduled payments/transfers, you can check the status and the receipt number via View past Payments/Transfers from the Payments menu. For unsuccessful payments/transfers, the status will show as failed. You can also check the details of the payment/transfer to find the reason the payment/transfer failed.

Please note that delays, interruptions or failures may occur (this might be outside ANZ’s control): it is your responsibility to check your account statement for transaction details.
